While visiting a dear friend in Davis, CA last summer, Adele mentioned in passing a tradition in her neighborhood called 'Corner Store'. At a specific corner, anyone can drop off items they no longer want or need and those items are free for the taking to others who would give them a new home. On our way to breakfast we passed by the corner and, alas, nothing. We enjoyed a leisurely meal and decided to swing by on the way home, as well. What? A big box of stuff appeared and both Adele and I found beautiful dresses that fit!
